Net future value
The margin a customer should still bring over the chosen horizon, net of returns, logistics and support, and discounted. Each score comes with its factors: you can read why.
THE COMMERCIAL CAPITAL ALLOCATOR
INÉGAL computes what each customer is worth over time, with its margin of error, before you decide how much to spend to keep them.
Discount, offer and win-back budgets are mostly set on averages: past revenue, average basket, tenure. Yet a large buyer can cost more than they bring in, returns and service included, and a discreet first purchase can open a long relationship.
INÉGAL sets what you believe about a customer against what their data lets you state.
The margin a customer should still bring over the chosen horizon, net of returns, logistics and support, and discounted. Each score comes with its factors: you can read why.
A range, not a single number: lower bound, median, upper bound, and the calibration status of the band. A short history gives a wide band, and the engine says so.
For a proposed action (discount, offer, follow-up), the engine returns a cost ceiling, the expected net gain and kill switches: margin floor, maximum budget, minimum history.
For a fictitious recurring customer, the engine does not say “good customer”. It gives a value with its band, a cost ceiling, and the decision that follows.
| INDICATOR | VALUE | READING |
|---|---|---|
| Net future value, median | €2,319 | Expected future margin over 12 months, discounted. |
| 80 % band | €1,593 — €3,111 | One customer in ten is expected below the lower bound, one in ten above the upper bound. |
| Cost ceiling | €159 | Expected effect of the action × lower bound. We do not spend on the favourable hypothesis. |
| Proposed cost | €120 | Allowed Decision: treat. |
